"Because Every Shot Counts"
July 2006
Vol 1 Issue 7

Nextel's BAS Relocation pace has increased for RF Central in recent weeks. We are completing inventories, installations, and have delivered over 500 RF Extreme™ radios for the Relocation. We look forward to many more deliveries in the coming weeks as Nextel and broadcasters continue to finalize agreements to meet the FCC deadline.

RF Central's High-Definition Camera Mount Transmitter(RFX-HD-CMT) is seeing a lot of the baseball field these days. Since winning the ESPN shoot out, and transmitting baseball history with Barry Bonds' record-breaking home run, the RF Extreme HD-CMT has captured games in Houston, Chicago, and Philadelphia. If you missed it, don't worry, you can catch all the action in HD from Boston this weekend as the Angels of Anaheim take on the Red Socks in this weeks ESPN Sunday Night Baseball Game, or next week (Aug 6) when the Phillies play the Mets in New York.

On May 13th 2006, Jeff Winemiller and RF Central subsidiary Pennsylvania Microwave Network (PMNI) were recognized by the U.S. Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS) for continued contributions and support. PMNI provides Pennsylvania Army MARS with tower space at 10 locations, providing the backbone of their voice and data networks. In addition, this year RF Central and PMNI sponsored the Pennsylvania MARS conference held at the Pennsylvania Military Museum near State College.

Only days ago Total RF was on the golf course again with RF Extreme equipment for the B.C. Open (July 17-23) in Verona NY, and the American Century Championship (July 11-16) in Lake Tahoe NV. RF Central's Camera Mount Transmitter (RFX-CMT) and Rack Mount Receiver (RFX-RMR) captured the action for broadcast on NBC.

ESPN broadcast the WNBA All-Star Game (July 12) in High-Definition with the help of Total RF and of course, the High-Definition Camera Mount Transmitter (RFX-HD-CMT) from RF Central. Total RF was on location at Madison Square Garden to field the event as the East beat the undefeated West to win their first All-Star Game.
