NAB 2006 was a phenomenal success for us, thanks to all of you who visited our booth and expressed an interest in our line of products.

We received more visitors in the first day than we have received for the whole show in our best year previously. Thank you to all who visited!

One of those products garnered an award from TV Technology for innovation; the RFX-MDR-PC, or Micro Digital Receiver for laptop/PC.

Designed to plug into any USB 2.0 port, it’s rugged enough for in-field confidence reception, and small and light enough to fit into your shirt pocket. And at under $1,000, their moving like hotcakes!

RF Central continues to make heads turn with our industry precedent-setting 3-Year Product Warranty and COFDM links that consistently perform exceptionally well.

In addition, our fleet of loaner ENG vans means no down-time while our customers go through the relocation.

Remember, RF Central not only manufactures RF equipment, we also use it; our sister company, Total RF, puts that same equipment to the test week after week at events…

…like ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, where we were able to capture Barry Bond’s record-setting home run up close and on the diamond with our RFX-HD-CMT. In fact, watch just about any live TV on any network, and you’ll be watching something through the lens of a camera transmitting its signal through an RFX product. USA Today ran even ran a story earlier this month pointing out that our RFX-HD-CMT is making it possible for a live camera to be used on a Major League Baseball field for the first time ever.

RF Central has moved! That is, we’ve moved BACK into the building we all used to occupy when we worked for Jeff Winemiller at Winemiller Communications. A year after Jeff sold WCI to Frontline, he bought back the microwave division, and started RF Central across town. After Frontline closed down WCI, we moved back! More space, familiar surroundings… well, familiar location in any case (you wouldn’t recognize the place since the renovations). So, if you’re in South Central Pennsylvania, stop by and pay us a visit!
